MÖBIUS
I think Mobius is an amazing piece of contemporary urban design upon the landscape. If only temporary in existence, its physicality is preserved on film indefinitely.
The production used 21 fibre glass triangles in an ongoing succession, called a “stopcycle” it is a series of objects that sink into the ground and then return and loop. So, each piece has to be moved between each shot to create motion. The director would therefore need to consider many aspects of his environment. Some of these aspects might be traffic, lighting, permission (to use the location), and time.
